The independent 501(c)(3) behind Scottsdale classrooms since 2006.
The mission of the Scottsdale Unified School District Foundation is to help all students within the Scottsdale Unified School District achieve educational excellence.
The Foundation fosters this mission by supporting programs that enhance the learning experience of our children and bringing community awareness to the significant financial challenges within our schools.
As a Foundation Board, we intentionally make certain our funding efforts are diverse and look to all areas of focus, including a K-12, multi-disciplinary, special needs approach. Each and every SUSD student is supported and experiences educational excellence.
Since 2006 the SUSD Foundation has funded many SUSD programs and grants, such as the Quest for Excellence Mini-Grants, National Board Certification for Teachers, All-City Athletic Awards Banquets, Camp Invention and others, equaling a total of more than $1,000,000 awarded to Scottsdale Unified School District to date.
We are currently focused on supporting larger districtwide initiatives such as the bioscience initiative with HonorHealth and the entrepreneurship initiative with the Innovation Center.
Every dollar stays in Scottsdale classrooms.
